If only the voucher date is entered on the posting screen (posting date remains blank), the voucher date becomes the posting date. However, if this posting date falls within a closed period, you will receive a warning and have to enter a different posting date.
To increase convenience, a new option has been added under “My settings”. If you activate this new option, the posting date that falls in the next open period in this financial year is automatically suggested.
You can find this new option in the software under “Special programs => My settings” on tabpage “Online posting”.
