From 01.01.2018 companies and private foundations may carry out securities transactions only if they have a so-called "Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)" pursuant to the EU Regulation (EU) No 600/2014 on Markets in Financial Instruments (MiFIR). This is a standardized 20-digit code that enables clear identification of participants in the financial market (for example, companies, banks or investment funds) worldwide (Source).
In the accounting software EuroFib for Windows you are able to enter this legal entity identifier in a new field in the address record as an information.
